4th Short-term joint staff training events, Rhodes, Greece

“Critical assessment of a digital collection of cultural material”

From 9 to 13 October 2017, Rhodes, Greece, the fourth Short-term Joint Staff training events were held. Our host was  the 1st Lyceum of Rhodes -  Venetokleion. The theme of the meeting was “Critical assessment of a digital collection of cultural material”.

During the 4th Short-term joint staff training, organised by Venetokleion, teachers had the opportunity to attend lectures by experts and participate in training workshops on the educational use of applications such as Google maps, Padlet, Mindomo, ThingLink and TaleBlazer. The week’s agenda also incIuded educational visits to the main historical sites of the island, where visitors explored local history through studying and recording with mobile devices the monuments of the successive historical phases of the island, from Ancient times to the Italian Period.
